Biography

Susan graduated from Northwestern University and has worked with the birth-to-three population as well as in adult neuro rehabilitation facilities in the Chicago area, Wisconsin, and Grand Rapids.   She is particularly passionate about parent/caregiver education and early language development.  She loves pouring into, and learning from, the intelligent and creative graduate students at Calvin.   Susan lives with her husband, Phil, and their three children: Emma, Ethan, and Colin, with whom she enjoys making music, being involved in their church, and exploring National Parks
