On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, 麻豆区 is providing an opportunity for the local community to support local women-and BIPOC-owned businesses (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) at a pop-up market on campus.

The event, featuring 24 businesses, takes place in the lobby of the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex from 4-7 p.m. The general public is welcome to come out and support these businesses.

Note: See campus map. Parking lots 5, 6, and 7 will provide easy access to the market.

The event happens on the eve of President Wiebe Boer鈥檚 inauguration ceremony and represents his commitment to diversity and to strategic partnerships and community engagement.

President Boer will be inducted into office during a formal inauguration ceremony tomorrow at 4 p.m. on campus in the Spoelhof Fieldhouse Complex鈥檚 Van Noord Arena.
