John Calvin's 504th birthday

Making his grand entrance atop a green John Deere tractor, chaplain emeritus Dale Cooper took on the role of John Calvin at his 504th birthday party on July 10, 2013. His take saw the often-somber theologian in good spirits as he gave a speech likening his appreciation for the tractor to the theology of T.U.L.I.P. Faculty and staff were also in good spirits, indulging their “totally depraved” taste buds with cake and ice cream in Calvin’s honor.
