Calvin junior Jake Mantel took fourth place at the 2012 Regional Idea Pitch competition held on Wednesday, November 7, at Aquinas College's Wege Ballroom. The major competed against the winners of collegiate Idea Pitch Competitions from seven local colleges and universities. The annual event is sponsored by the West Michigan Colleges and Universities Group, whose goal is to collectively support student-oriented entrepreneurial events.
