Calvin alum "starter" for 5K Spring Classic

"Our life is in God's hands. He takes care of us. (Last year) was a very miraculous event, and it shows that God is with us at all times."

Harold Schnyders, a 1960 Calvin alum, in an with the Grand Rapids Press about his role as the official starter for the 21st annual Calvin College 5K Spring Classic. Last year Schnyders suffered a heart attack during this same race. He is grateful for the quick response by fellow runners and emergency personnel.
